Naturally African platform is a Pan African forum therefore its activities will be decentralized and distributed initially into four nodes (East Africa, Southern Africa, Humid Africa and Central Africa-Sahel). It will concentrate on nationally or sub-regionally important species and also those species with Pan African distribution and importance.
The platform employs an "open source" approach to the compilation and analysis of products, markets and information in collaboration with national research bodies.
Develop a strategy or high impact research and knowledge generation for each node based on baseline data from marketing and processing professionals and smallholder producers. |
